About Us! We are a couple of horse show moms who began creating custom horse show clothing for our own children back in 1996. As we traveled, the girls would be asked where did they get their clothing and they would answer "My mom made it!" Eventually folks began asking if we could design custom creations for them and their children. Hence, Sparklin Features was founded. As our children grew, we transitioned from 4-H to open and breed shows and even on to state and national level competitions. We have had the privelege to create unique fashions for the young 4-H exhibitor for her first show on up to State Rodeo queens competing for the title of Miss Rodeo America in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our business has grown since we started sewing for our children in 1996 but please keep in mind we have not forgotten what it is like to be a struggling horse show mom on a budget paying for veterinary bills, riding lessons, feed bills, etc and still trying to dress your daughter for success. We will be happy to assist you in designing a one-of-a-kind creation and work to stay within your budget through the use of various material choices. We are also able to add extra hem length, etc so that your custom creation will grow with your child. We pride ourselves in helping to create custom apparel with quality and style while maintaining a competitive edge. With that in mind, the ready-to-wear items featured on our website have two prices. The original price is approximately what it would cost to produce something similar to what you see in your own size or color. These items are samples we make for display at trade shows, horse shows and rodeo queen events therefore we can offer them at a discounted price.
